PROBONO PROGRAMME 

This is a PROBONO programme set, managed and paid by a volunteer family.

There will be NO COST for participants, neither for hosted participant nor for hosting family.

DEPOSIT

During last editions, some participants have missued this cultural exchange programme to cover temporary accomodation until finding another place to stay.

This has generated uncomfortable situations with the families and the probono programme organisation.

This programme is free of cost, but organisers acting as volunteers devote their time, effort, money and commitment to make it possible. Likewise, families open their homes and confidence and don't deserve to be deceived.

Therefore, in order to discourage those who want to missuse the programme from applying, a 500€ deposit will be required.

This deposit will be required by the organisation when a matching is done between the family and the participant to be hosted.

This amount will be 100% reimbursed after the third month of participating in the programme (minus bank transfer costs).

In the event of a participant wants to finish the relationship before that first period, and wants to recover the deposit, the organisation shall be informed. It shall be settled by the participant, the hosting family and the organisation if the deposit has to be reimboursed. That money not being reinforced will be used to cover operating costs currently sponsored by the volunteer organisation.
